Jim is one of the early partners of PBP and has over 35 years of industry experience. He began his career in the life insurance industry. After completing training in financial planning, he found his passion was employee benefits. Jim’s mission is to make a positive difference in people's lives.

Jim uses the strategic planning he learned to create and design benefit plans that merge employers' budgets with the many needs of their employees. Jim was on the consumer-driven working group that developed the Health Savings platform. He believes we must use all resources available to create exciting benefit designs that meet the needs of our clients.

Jim has spent many years coaching youth baseball and football. He believes that when we teach the skills of teamwork, discipline, and having our teammate's back, we can all work together and accomplish more than we can by ourselves. This is the same way he manages the PBP team, we all work together for the benefit of our clients.

Jim has been involved with his professional association. He has held many positions within the association, including past president of the local and state boards. He uses his talents to help create and drive responsible healthcare legislation and provides valuable training for members in the employee benefits field.

In his free time, Jim likes to learn about leadership, is an avid reader, and loves to spend time with his wife Mariah and his children.
